Porter Airlines flies Canadian-built Bombardier Aerospace Q400 turboprop aircraft.

Thanks to the development of a revolutionary Noise and Vibration Suppression system, the modern Q Series aircraft are the quietest turboprops flying today.

The Pratt & Whitney PW150A is the most advanced turboprop engine currently in service, producing nearly twice the take-off power of older turboprop engines, with significantly improved fuel-efficiency.

Porter's Lounges

Porter's lounges feature an array of free amenities, including wireless internet access, coffee, tea, soft drinks, premium snacks and business work stations equipped with iMac computers.

Just steps from airport security and the departure gates, each lounge is a great place to catch up on a few phone calls and emails, or to read the day’s papers before a flight.

In-Flight Service

Porter's attentive crew is pleased to offer snack and beverage service on all flights, including complimentary soft drinks, wine and beer.

Passengers will appreciate the comfortable 2-by-2 layout (no middle seats!), the custom leather upholstery and headrest covers, and more legroom than any cabin in its class.

Check-In Information

Porter Airlines offers the following options for check-in:

  • Airport Counter Check-in: This is method uses the service counters at the airports for checking in. Travelers hand over any baggage that they do not wish or are not allowed to carry-on to the aircraft's cabin and receive a boarding pass before they can proceed to board their aircraft. Travelers should allow sufficient time for getting to the airport, through check-in and security and to the gate.
  • Electronic Kiosk Check-in: Self check-in kiosks can be used 24 hours prior to departure up until 30 minutes prior to departure. For those who want to bypass the lines at the counter, Porter Airlines offers check-in services for passengers via electronic kiosks. The Porter Airlines' Kiosk locations vary according to airport.
  • Online Check-in This option allows you to save time and check-in for your flight up to 24 hours in advance of your departure time via the internet.
